When Editor-In-Chief and Art Director of BOND OFFICIAL, Igee Okafor and Marcus Richardson began the process of creating How He Does It, the demonstrated intent was to explore subject matters spotlighting the day to day realities diverse groups of men face to be able to sustain clear sighted realities - everything from health, to activism, to business and alike.
Last night, this intent came to life as we celebrated the launch of the podcast with a panel discussion in downtown New York City at Tribeca’s very own Spring Place.
For this intimate event, we invited family, and friends of BOND OFFICIAL to reunite, and of course, give a taste of what our purpose looked like in real life.
The panel itself, consisted of How He Does It hosts and feature, Igee Okafor, Marcus Richardson and, Timothy Jeffreys. Moderated by Phineas Ellis who made for a quick witted host, subject matters focused on diversity, the importance of objective, and mental health.
What followed was a conversation so unfolded, illuminating and benevolent. For the sole purpose of sharing and teaching, it felt extra special.
Special thanks to Montblanc and Spring Place.
