“My hair is full of volume and is usually all over the place first thing in the morning so, what I do is brush my hair to detangle before getting into the shower. While in the shower, I use this sulfate-free L’Oreal curl sensation shampoo and conditioner. If my hair is super dry, I sometimes leave the conditioner in a little longer to feel more hydrated, less frizzy and dry. I then let my hair air dry and allow my curls to form a little on its own. Depending on the occasion, I will use Sebastian Curl Cream to perfect and revive my curls.”

“I like a natural dirty funk hair style. I don’t want a perfect look, my hair just needs to be healthy-looking and natural so, my three tips would be:
Get a barber that you trust to always give you a good haircut
Don’t consistently over-shampoo your hair because it can dry it out, so just let your natural hair oil penetrate a bit.
Allow your hair to grow and take its natural shape. Don’t try to force it to do something it doesn’t naturally do.”

“I need my hair to retain moisture because it gets dry easily so I sometimes wear hair wrap to lock in moisture. Coconut oil is my go-to multi-purpose product that I use both on my skin and my hair for extra sheen. I recently started using a hair mask that I find is very helpful with keeping my hair hydrated. My curls are more defined too. My key tip when using a hair mask is to cover your hair with a shower cap or any type of steam cap to lock in the product. Sleeping with a silk pillowcase helps too. I find that both techniques keep my hair protected.”
