The Polar Express

This American classic came out in 2004 and follows the story of a young boy who joins aboard the Polar Express, a train which is heading for the North Pole. The movie is based off of the book by Chris Van Allsburg, and a great story about self discovery.​ It is a great film for both the young and young at heart.

A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood

Told from the eyes Llyod Vogel who is an investigative journalist after being assigned to interview Fred Roger, or more commonly known as “Mr. Rogers”. As time is spent with between the two, Roger’s optimism chips away at Vogel’s pessimistic outlook and faced with reconciling with his past.

 

Elf

Another Holiday classic starring Will Farrell, this film is perfect for a few good laughs and a touching father-son story. Originally released in 2003 this comedy is timeless.

 

Eyes Wide Shut

Both a holiday and cult classic. Eyes Wide Shut is a perfect throw back to spice up your holiday watch list. Originally released in 1999, this thriller still runs shutters down your spine. Following the story of Dr. Bill Hartford (played by Tom Cruise) after an escalated night, Dr. Hartford takes an offer to go to a private party which turns out to be much more sinister than expected.

 

1917

Just hitting theaters now is “1917”. Focusing on World War I, the film is centered around two British soldiers as they embark on a perilous journey to save 1,600 men from death after finding information of trap laid by the opposing force.
