THE FRAGRANCE ROOM

The Maker Hotel's Fragrance Room is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. It's a magical place that's designed to transport you into a world of scents and sensory experiences, an experience that is very special to founder Lev Glazman himself.

The fragrance has always been a transformative experience for him, conjuring up vivid memories and associations with people he's encountered throughout his life. That's why The Maker Hotel's Fragrance Room is a treasure trove of scents he carefully collected over the years.

Here you will also find six signature fragrances created for the hotel brand. Each is distinct and tells a different story: Naked, Stag, Paradiso, Wild, Fire, and Libertine.

Naked is a standout as it is an unexpected fragrance that defies convention. This unique fragrance draws inspiration from The Maker's Artist Room, where intimacy and creativity are celebrated. The result is a scent that's at once powdery, subtle, and undeniably alluring. With notes of white musk and woody undertones, Naked leans towards the feminine side, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a skin fragrance that's both provocative and refined.

In addition to The Maker Cafe, this light-filled conservatory is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a tranquil atmosphere perfect for unwinding and recharging.

Whether you're in the mood for a caffeine fix, a delicious meal, or a quiet spot to read or work, The Conservatory has you covered. The menu features an array of fresh and seasonal dishes sourced from local farmers and celebrates the bounty of the Hudson Valley.

But the real star of the show is the ambiance. The space feels like a botanical oasis, with soaring ceilings, verdant plants, and plenty of natural light. The large communal table in the center of the room is perfect for gathering with friends or meeting new people, and the relaxed and welcoming vibe makes it easy to feel right at home.

THE LOUNGE

From the moment you step inside, you'll be struck by the Lounge's attention to detail. The vintage-inspired decor, comfortable seating, and stylish lighting fixtures create a classic and contemporary atmosphere.

But it's not just the design that makes the Lounge so appealing. And the small plates and snacks are fresh and flavorful, making the Lounge a perfect spot for a light bite or a leisurely meal.

The drinks menu features a carefully curated selection of handcrafted cocktails, fine wines, and locally brewed beers, ensuring that there's something for every taste and preference. The six Maker Hotel fragrances also inspire cocktail offerings. All are sure to wow guests, but The Stag is a true masterpiece of mixology, a drink that's as complex and intriguing as it is delicious. Made with a base of Hillrock Single Malt Rye and Hudson Bourbon, this drink truly celebrates the Hudson Valley's rich and diverse spirits scene.

To this base, the recipe includes Italicus Rosolio de Bergamotto, a sweet and floral liqueur that adds a bright and zesty note to the drink. Pine liqueur, made from locally harvested white pine needles, brings a touch of the forest to the mix, while palo santo adds a smoky and exotic element.

The result is a drink that's both bold and refined, with a complex and nuanced flavor profile that's sure to leave a lasting impression. The Stag cocktail is a perfect choice for anyone looking to explore the unique flavors of the Hudson Valley.

But perhaps the most unique aspect of The Maker Hotel's candles is their sustainability. The hotel is committed to using eco-friendly materials and processes, ensuring that every candle is as environmentally friendly as it is beautiful.
