Attendees were then led to a dining room enveloped with floral installations and a single table for one hundred, designed by British-Nigerian multidisciplinary-artist Yinka Ilori, Courvoisier’s newly appointed Ambassador of Joy.

Ilori’s installation design was “inspired by nature and his trips to Jarnac, France - what he saw when he went there,” said Nicolas Ricroque, Head of Global Marketing, Courvoisier. “The table is the river that flows by our house. The sound and the flowers that you see, the greenery, is inspired by landscapes and sensations of the vineyards in the summertime in Jarnac.”

The dinner experience transported guests—who just an hour prior were chilled by New York winter winds—to summertime in France, complete with an explosive color palette, soothing sounds and an elegant menu featuring Courvoisier cocktails paired with each course; a crowd favorite was The Gala, a refreshing blend of Courvoisier VS and Sparkling Lemon Tonic with a Lemon wheel for garnish.

Following dinner guests were treated to a surprise performance by recording artist Leven Kali, who closed out the evening covering “Pass the Courvoisier,” a classic by none other than Busta Rhymes.
