It’s been a huge year for Billecart-Salmon. From updating their sleek new packaging to dropping a seriously impressive vintage cuvée—Clos Saint-Hilaire 2007, crafted from their biodynamically farmed plot—they’re showing just how far they can push the envelope. This isn’t just about heritage anymore; it’s about leading the way in sustainable winemaking while still delivering that top-tier Champagne experience.

Billecart-Salmon is taking its relationship with devotees of the brand to the next level with this new project. The creation of the guest house isn’t just about offering a luxurious stay; it’s about giving their most loyal patrons a direct, personal connection to the heart of the brand. By inviting guests to experience the estate up close, Billecart-Salmon is honing in on what makes them special—their commitment to craftsmanship, heritage, and the people who appreciate it firsthand. It’s an opportunity to go beyond the bottle and feel the passion and legacy that’s been passed down through generations.

The new spaces feel personal, and inviting. It’s the kind of place where every detail tells a story. With the help of designer Elliott Barnes, a fresh, modern approach to design was taken for Billecart-Salmon’s new guest house, drawing from the natural beauty of the vineyards and the estate’s century-old chestnut tree. Instead of relying on traditional luxury materials, he infused the space with elements that feel organic yet surprising. One highlight is a coffee table made from branches collected from the estate’s vines—a nod to the land that defines Billecart-Salmon. The oak-stained terrazzo floors, with their warm, earthy tones, mirror the surrounding landscape, creating a fluid connection between the inside and outside. Barnes’ design feels thoughtful and grounded, effortlessly blending the estate’s deep-rooted history with a more forward-thinking aesthetic.

This year, Billecart-Salmon not only opened the doors to its newly designed reception rooms but also released two exceptional vintage cuvées: the Elisabeth Salmon 2012 and Louis Salmon 2012. The Founders Rooms, dedicated to Elisabeth Salmon and Nicolas François Billecart, offer a refined setting that mirrors the grace and complexity of the cuvées themselves, while the Louis Room honors the same legacy reflected in the vintage bearing his name.

Together, these spaces and wines pay tribute to the Maison’s principal figures, fusing family history with a modern expression of craftsmanship. With the addition of a grand reception hall and a professional tasting room, guests can experience these iconic releases in a setting that echoes the spirit of the wines—timeless, elegant, and deeply connected to their heritage.
