While we don’t deem Jo Malone’s newest cologne intense, Bronze Wood & Leather a clear-cut choice for a spring/summer fragrance, we will say the scent is less likely to go over the head of anyone who tries it.

The monochromatic design of its bottle in black and silver stays true to the minimalism of Jo Malone’s design history - similar to Tom Ford’s “Oud Wood” fragrance. In addition, it perfectly depicts the aura of the fragrance without giving away too much, or overplaying what it really is which we are sure contributes to the element of surprise that comes with unveiling the scent for the first time.

Bronze Wood & Leather is polished, smooth, and mildly sexy. A thread of juniper, and garden-fresh grapefruit charges through the fragrance with a tinge of vetiver. The kind of sensual tone the scent oozes is a testament to the richness in its leathery, and woody notes - very smoky, very masculine, very memorable.
